It's the Mad Tequila Run @ Chili Head BBQ
Mad Tequila Run
There are two types of people in this world, those who can drink tequila, and those who can't. The Mad Tequila Run is for those of us who can.
What is the Mad Tequila Run?
This is not a race, it is a challenge to see who can drink all of the 50+ different brands of tequila here at ChiliHead. When you complete the challenge, your picture will go up on the wall with the rest of the amateur tequila masters.
How do you Play?
First you bring in a small picture of yourself. (Staff will cut pictures that are too big) Second, start drinking tequila. To keep the run organized, everyone will start with the mescal at the bottom left of the tequila wall and move to the right, then up one level, then to the left, then up to the top shelf and across to the right. Your picture will move across the shelf with each shot you take. Sounds pretty simple right?
Rules
1. Maximum of 3 shots per night. This is the maximum, the bartender can shut you off sooner. No arguing with bartender.
2. Pictures will be small enough to not interfere with bartenders duties.
3. Your picture goes under the bottle of the last shot you drank. Not under the next shot to take.
4. The 3 shot tequila tasters, even though they are just a little less than a full shot, still count as full shots.
5. If your picture does not move for more than a month, you go back to the beginning.
6. If you hurl, you go back to the beginning.
7. Disputes will be handled by Chef Bello, who will promptly send everyone back to the beginning.
8. If you go back to the beginning, you don't have to drink the mescal again.
9. The last shot to drink will be from the spill bucket under the beer taps, which will be known as the "GROG." Grog shots can only be done on Thursday nights, during open mic. If you have already finished all the tequila and done a grog shot, you can add other ingredients to the grog when someone else is taking their grog shot.
10. If you make it through all the tequila, and the grog, your picture will be hung on top of the tequila wall for the world to see that you are an amatuer tequila master.
